Where The City’s Ceaseless Crowds is a work composed for trumpet and piano by Michael Nyman. The title of this piece comes from a poem by Walt Whitman called ”Mannahatta”, which later formed the basis of an experimental 1920s film, for which Nymanwrote a soundtrack in 2003. This includes the full score, as well as separate trumpet parts.
