The new MD-L1412SAL is a lacquer finish version of Peace’s best selling marching snare. 9-ply maple/ mahogany/maple sandwich shells, hardwoods known for both their musicality and durability, are precision formed and sanded at Peace prior to finishing. A sealer is applied before the first coat of lacquer can be sprayed. Once aresilient finish has been applied and allowed to dry – taking a number of coats, ten high-tension lugs and snare mechanism are mounted to the shell. The fully assembled snare– with hoops, heads, strainer, leg rest, and carrying bar – offers unparalleled versatility and tonal range.
